Crescent Quay Wexford Town 1890's.
A collection of 200 photos taken between 1890-1910 approx. image
It is highly probable that Mr William Andrews is the photographer that took the majority of these photos. Andrews William was born in 1832 in Sussex, later moving to Dublin. He had a photo studio at 32 Westmoreland Street, 1861 to 1863, then 88 Grafton Street from 1864 to 1865. Living at 5 Upper Erne Street Dublin until early 1871. Willian Andrews and family then moved to Wexford shortly thereafter in 1871. He had a photo studio at his home in High Street, Wexford Town, and in the late 1880's had a second photo studio / room at New Street Enniscorthy, County Wexford. He died at his home in High Street, Wexford Town, in June 1904. I (Kevin Carroll) have scanned the original glass negatives for these photos. Just for completeness, CHARLES VIZE was a popular portrait photographer in Wexford of the early 1900s, however, these photos are some years earlier.
